The South Florida Sun Sentinel is reporting that Miami Dolphins rookie quarterback Ryan Tannehill will get the nod when the fins take the field on the road at the Carolina Panthers. Dolphins television commentator Dick Stockton revealed this in a radio interview this morning. Incumbent Matt Moore started in last week’s 20-7 home loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This will be Tannehill’s first game action with the first team in a preseason game. He was 14-of-21 passing for 167 yards and a touchdown last week while working with the second unit against the Bucs reserves
It will also be interesting to see how the rookie fares against against the Panthers’ first-team defense.
According to reports Tannehill has improved steadily during camp, how much ?
We’ll find out tonight.
