Hurricane Sandy alters Steelers flight plans; will fly in on Sunday

Giants QB Eli Manning takes a picture of the flooding that occurred in his apartment after Hurricane Sandy

The “Frankenstorm” is gone, but it continues to wreak havoc through out the northeast. People have lost lives and homes. The Brooklyn Nets and New York Knicks have postponed their game until November.

As the region awaits aid and some sort or normalcy, the Giants are getting ready for a big showdown with the Pittsburgh Steelers. They may have a slight advantage thanks to the storm.

The Steelers’ hotel in Jersey City still doesn’t have power since the superstorm hit the East Coast, and the team can’t find another hotel to accommodate the organization in the area.

The Steelers now will fly into Newark, N.J., on Sunday morning, have a pregame meal at a hotel near the airport and bus to the stadium, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Kickoff against the defending Super Bowl champions is 4:25 p.m

Prayers and thoughts go out to all the people in that area. We obviously know about those storms here in South Florida. Hopefully a little football will get peoples minds off of everything that’s going on up there.

Streets of New Jersey are flooded because of the storm

Tom Coughlin Gets In Greg Schiano’s Face

Old Man Coughlin felt as if the Bucs pushing the pile on the last down when Eli took a knee was disrespectful.

What’s funny is you can see Coughlin turn away from Schiano, then turns back to him, barks “that’s bullish*t” all while shaking his hand.

Gotta love it! Thanks to Big Lead Sports for the video

Victor Cruz “salsa’s” with Ashanti sans Nelly

Get ready to see him salsa all over your tv for the summer.

Fresh from salsa-ing in the Super Bowl, Victor Cruz showed up at the after party for the premiere of the movie “Safe House” at the New York club Kiss & Fly. Turns out that Ashanti was hosting the after party and the two connected and laughed and danced the evening away.

Partygoers snapped pictures and video of the two mingling for the evening. There was no need for them to hide. Cruz has been in a relationship with the same woman since he was 17, and Ashanti has been known to be with Nelly for the past few years.

Now only if Cruz’s dancing and wide receiving skills can resurrect Ashanti’s singing career.

Maria Menounos loses bet; sports Bikini

I think I’ll make this bet with a female media member next year.

Maria Menounos of EXTRA tv had a bet with her co host AJ Calloway on the Super Bowl. If the Pats won, AJ would sport a Patriots cheerleader outfit. Luckily for him, and us, they didn’t. The Giants won their second trophy and Maria had to wear the Giants colored bikini in the middle of Times Square.

God is a Giants fan.

Antrel Rolle and Midgets

Antrel Rolle talks to the media

When I think of Super Bowl media week, I don’t think of Eli Manning. I don’t think of Tom Brady. I definitely don’t think of Bill Belichek or Tom Coughlin. I think of ┬áTerrell Suggs. Ray Lewis. And then there’s Antrel Rolle.
