How Ray Allen Continues To Save Miami

If you thought people in Miami will forever love former NBA Star Ray Allen for helping win this town an NBA Championship with a life saving three pointer you would be correct. Remember it was Allen’s clutch corner trey that helped the Heat survive elimination and eventually overcome the San Antonio Spurs and win the 2013 NBA Finals.

This time Ray Allen and his wife Shannon are saving lives. The couple has opened an organic Fast-Food Restaurant in Miami. yes healthy eating for folks on the go !! It is called GROWN and it is a must visit spot in the 305.

After struggling to feed their son, who has Type 1 diabetes, healthy food on-the-go, the couple decided that it was time to invest in a vision which might benefit other families striving to live and eat better. This will help to save countless lives by giving people a healthier choice to fast food.

Shannon, who is a cooking show host, said in a press release:

“I had an aha moment where I realized I couldn’t sit around helpless waiting for someone else to create a fast-food option that met our family’s dietary needs. As we did our research it became obvious that this wasn’t a struggle unique to us, families everywhere are looking for convenience without compromise.”

This could totally change the game no pun intended. Let’s all support the Allen’s in this new venture. Hopefully we can see as many GROWN restaurants as golden arches all over South Florida and worldwide. For more info visit http://www.grown.org/ You can thank me later.
