Two more Miami Dolphins players were awarded some good news, as cornerback Brent Grimes and safety Reshad Jones were added to the NFL Pro Bowl roster.
Last week, the NFL announced that receiver Jarvis Landry and tackle Brandan Albert were added onto the roster, and now with the additions of Grimes and Jones, this now brings the Dolphins team total to 5 with center Mike Pouncey.
This is Brent Grimes 4 pro bowl invite and comes in a time when his future with the team is a little cloudy. He performed well on the field this year (49 tackles, 4 interceptions), but there is some speculation as to whether Grimes is aging and has lost a step.
Jones, who had his best year to date (135 tackles, 5 interceptions) was left off the original roster, a move that several fellow NFLer’s didn’t think was the right one.
Jelani Jenkins on @reshadjones9: "He's a leader & he makes everyone around him better…he's helped me out and should be in the Pro Bowl."
