Marlins Floundering Near Bottom of the Standings
What is more believable? That the Marlins can turn this sorry season around and finish around .500 or that they actually thought about hiring back Ozzie Guillen as their manager once they fired Mike Redmond? If you picked them hiring Ozzie back, just one of the managers they’re stilling paying for, then you are correct. That has not just been the Marlins season so far, but the Marlins existence under Jeffrey Loria.
With each passing series, the Marlins are either getting swept or barely pulling out a win. They can’t hit. They can’t pitch.
Hell they make the Cleveland Indians from the Major League movie look like perennial All-Stars.
The Marlins better start praying to Jobu for some good luck. Sure, Jobu didn’t help Pedro Serrano hit a curveball but these Marlins couldn’t hit water if they fell out of a boat.
It’s ironic that the person who put this team together, the one who knows the team the best, Dan Jennings, can’t even coach them to a win. I still can’t believe that Team President David Samson and President of Baseball Operations, Mike Hill tried to sell us that horse manure that Jennings was the right guy for the job.
Let’s face it Marlins fans or fan depending how long this losing streak will last, this season is as lost as a tourist driving the 836 West to the Palmetto.
Stick a fork in the Marlins, they’re done.
As baseball and Marlins fans we deserve a better class of owner than this horse’s ass. I feel like he wakes up one morning and thinks, “Hey, I haven’t made a dumbass decision in a while. Today seems like a good day to make one.” There is not rhyme or reason for all the asinine decisions he makes.
I honestly thought we were going to have one season where he didn’t meddle in team affairs. I mean he gave contract extensions, and hefty ones at that, to deserving players. The Marlins made some, at the time, great trades for players as well as getting some free agent signings.
We had hope and high expectations that we finally had our contender in the NL East, but we’ve had been took. We were hoodwinked. We were bamboozled. Led astray. The thief of tax payer money and constant screw up, Jeffrey Loria screwed the Marlins over again. He screwed the city, the fans, Major League etc. He has screwed us more than a stripper at Cheetahs.
Loria acts like he built a World Series Championship team. He fell ass backwards into the 2003 team. He then proceeded to do to the Marlins what he did to baseball in Montreal, ruin it.
As long as Loria owns the Miami Marlins, the team will be a reflection of him, a perennial loser.
Sometimes I just want to shout out loud, “Help us Jesus! Help us Jewish God! Help us Allah! Help us Tom Cruise! Tom Cruise, use your witchcraft on us to get Micky Arison as the new Marlins owner!”
Someone, anyone; just save baseball in Miami before Loria destroys it.
