According to TMZ, Kobe was partying it up in Barcelona and someone spilled a drink on him that left his entire shirt soaked.
Okay. First of all drinks in the club are not big enough to drench an entire shirt. Unless it was one of those Club Liv $100k bottles of Rose. A little drenched in the corner or on the chest, sure. But not coming-out-of-the-thunderstorm drenched.
But hey, when you’re the Mamba partying it up overseas, it’s well within your rights to tease the locals with a little eye candy. Welcome to the Kobe system ladies…
As a rookie in the NFL trying to make a team, you can’t have anything slow you down. Contract negotiations or injuries can be the death of a new career.
Vernon suffered the tweak of the ankle when he was trying to strip the ball from fellow rookie Lamar Miller. He fell to the ground in pain. He did however return to the field about 30 minutes later to resume practice.
Here’s Vernon during rookie OTA talking about his opportunity with the Dolphins
This will be the talk of the Olympic games, until the American’s lose big in either Basketball, Track and Field or Swimming.
Overall the opening ceremonies were ok. I give it a C+. It started off real slow but got better..at the end.
I did like how the British used their “Benny Hill” type of humor throughout the ceremony, especially with this video of the entrance of Great Britain’s monarch, Queen Elizabeth II.
If there was ever such a thing as an exciting presence off the bench, Ronny Turiaf was the embodiment of that for the Miami Heat ever since joining them this past season.
His antics on the bench kept the team and the crowds at the American Airlines Arena excited and entertained during games. Unfortunately for us, Ronny now takes his talents to the West Coast.
This will be Ronny’s 5th NBA team, and second stint in LA, albeit the first one was with the Lakers.
Good Luck Ronny!
It’s about that time!
Miami Dolphins training camp starts on Friday and is open to the public through out the weekend.
With the beginning of camp, comes the HBO “Hard Knocks” cameras. This should be fun.
Here’s a preview of what folks can expect beginning Tuesday August 7th.
Players have been running mouths a lot lately. We all know about what Lebron James said two years ago. Mike Vick says the Eagles can be a dynasty. At least Lebron has collected on one of his promises. And now this…
Ryan Kalil, center for the Carolina Panthers took out a full page ad in the Charlotte Observer to tell fans why the Panthers would win the Super Bowl this year.
I know this time of year as players head back to camp, everyone is optimistic and full of hope. And I’m cool with players saying it. But it’s probably not wise to take out a full page ad in your home team town paper. It’s cool to say it around the locker room and on the team bus, but this?
This analogy used in this clip you are about to see is what’s wrong with America when it comes to sports. I will be writing a blog on how the obsession with sports in this country is sometimes overwhelmingly dumb idiotic.
Here is a Penn State supporter talking about how bad it felt on Monday when the NCAA levied it’s sanctions on Penn State.
I’m hoping this guy watched himself on the news later and realized what he said was extra stupid.
